If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Callie is a beloved ball of energy who absolutely loves people and wants to play and cuddle. She loves chewing, and will play anything as long as it is with you. We have had her since she was a puppy, and she's the most loving and goofy girl. I wish I could keep her, but due to changes in our lives, she has become more anxious and jealous than we can handle. She would do well as an only pet, or at least as one of the larger dogs. She does well with regular training, and as much people time as she can get. We acquired her from a breeder as a puppy in December 2018. She was born in 2018 (7 years old). She was bred with a Standard Poodle mother, so she’s larger sized at 40 pounds and quite strong. She is a savvy food thief and always finds a reason to use her voice! She tolerates our other dog and is interested in our cat, although we haven't let her socialize with our cat so unsure how she would do with a cat. Our vet says she should have a dental cleaning in the next 6 months.
