My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kona! 💜
Kona is a 6-month-old spayed female Husky mix with a gentle heart and a loyal soul. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people or in new environments, but once she warms up, she becomes a total Velcro dog who loves being close to her person.
Kona does best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and feel secure. She is kennel trained and mostly potty trained, with the occasional excited pee when she’s very happy or stimulated (she’s still a puppy, after all!). Her vaccines have been started, and she’s on track for a healthy future.
She already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning with positive reinforcement and patience. Kona would thrive in a calm, understanding home that will give her time to build confidence and continue her training.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will bond deeply with you, Kona might just be your perfect match. 💜

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

More about this rescue

501c3 non-profit l est 2019 l

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
