My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winter
4 Years Old - Spayed Female
Adoption Fee: $145

Winter arrived with her buddy Mittens after their family welcomed newborn twins and could no longer care for them. She’s a soft-spoken, sweet girl who has been through a lot of change recently, but she’s on the mend and feeling better every day thanks to the medical care she received here.

Because she wasn’t feeling her best when she first came in, her full personality is still blossoming, but what we are seeing is a calm, gentle spirit who enjoys quiet companionship and leans into affection once she feels comfortable. Winter is the type of cat who will likely thrive in a peaceful home where she can take her time settling in and showing you just how special she is.

If you have a cozy space and a kind heart, Winter may be the perfect match.

More about this shelter

Since our founding in 1912, the Worcester Animal Rescue League (WARL) has been dedicated to the care of the animals who provide so much for their human companions. Without your support, however, nothing we do would be possible. WARL is a non-profit organization and your donations of money, time, supplies, homes, and love are vital to our cause and the lives of the animals in our care. Our sincerest thanks.
