Meet Morpheus, our lovable young goofball! This handsome pup, with his striking mix of gray, tan, and white, is likely a Boxerhound blend though we prefer to call him 100% Supermutt. At just about a year old and around 50 pounds, Morpheus is full of curiosity and absolutely lives for sniffing out the world around him.

Morpheus is convinced hes a lapdog and loves being right in the middle of whatever is happening. Hes incredibly friendly and social, yet polite and not jumpy. During his photo shoot, his favorite place was draped over the back of the couch (and yes its as adorable as it sounds!). Hes a happy-go-lucky guy who sits nicely for treats and is always ready to make you smile.

We think Morpheus would thrive in a home with another dog to be his buddy and share the fun. If youre looking for a sweet, playful companion with a big personality, Morpheus may be your perfect match.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
