History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own!
A Note from the Foster: Arlo is 10 weeks old and about 10 pounds. He is doing amazing with potty training and has been very successful being introduced to both my resident 65 pound pitbull as well as my other two fosters who are small breed, senior ladies. The resident cat gave him a little swat so he’s not so sure about her yet.
So far, Arlo has been a pretty chill puppy. He likes to chew on bones and play with toys, but mostly follows me around the house. He’s very affectionate and loves being held. He protests a little when going in the crate but settles in nicely after a few minutes. As stated before, he’s doing amazing with potty training. He hasn’t had a single accident in the house and seems to already know to hold it until we go out. We always go outside as soon as he wakes up from a nap or about every two hours.
Arlo is very treat motivated and has already picked up a lot from the other dogs. We’ve absolutely loved having him and his puppy antics. If you’re looking for a puppy… It doesn’t get much better than him!
