My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The first year of Davie’s life hasn’t been easy, but he’s ready for a fresh start. He was rescued by a Good Samaritan after being abandoned outside a hotel by his previous family. They neutered him and kept him safe until he could come into our care.

Davie previously lived with two female guinea pigs and has a gentle, easygoing nature, which makes him a great candidate for bonding. After everything he has been through he is a little shy, but with patience, love, and the companionship of other guinea pigs, he will blossom into a confident, happy boy.

Davie is looking for a quiet, caring home and some new piggy friends who can help him come out of his shell. Experience owning guinea pigs is a plus. If you’re ready to give him the love and stability he deserves, he will be a wonderful addition to your family.

More about this rescue

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
