My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Batgirl is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met! She loves pets and midday naps (she loves it even more if you're napping with her, she'll come over to nap either next to you or on top of you).
Want a cat with a promising soccer career? Batgirl is your girl! Although she doesn't care for a lot of toys, she definitely goes crazy for crinkle balls! In the evenings, she loves to play fetch (currently she has a 80% return rate but she's working on it!) and running around, dribbling the ball between her legs.
She also has the quietest meows'. It's almost like a whisper, very considerate of your neighbors! Give her some time to warm up to you and she'll reward you tenfold!

My foster writes:
Batgirl is very affectionate, friendly, and cuddly. She's a pro at the biscuit-factory and wants nothing more than to be pet and loved! When I walk into the room, she greets me with a small meow and beings purring and making biscuits long before I start petting her. When I reach a hand out to her, she roughly rubs her face against it and leans her cheek in for rubs. While she is less interested in toys, she more than makes up for it with her love of pets. Rough pets on the neck, little scritches on the cheeks, strokes along the back, and belly pats are all her favorite! She gets a startled by sudden movements or loud sounds, but shows great adaptability even after only a few days of exposure. When left alone, she spends most of her time lounging on her favorite bed.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.

Batgirl tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
