Teddy Bear is a 5½-year-old, 80-lb neutered male who’s as sweet as he is handsome. This gentle, loyal boy loves people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. He’s fully house-trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows his basic commands.
Teddy has completed his heartworm treatment and even had a dental cleaning, so his teeth are sparkling and he’s feeling great!
At home, Teddy enjoys snoozing in his bed beside yours, lounging on the couch right next to you, and soaking up the sunshine in the yard. He’s an excellent travel buddy and rides calmly in both cars and trucks.
Teddy isn’t a fan of being crated or left alone. A person or family that works from home or is retired would be the ideal situation. He falls hard and deeply for his caretakers, forming strong, loyal bonds, which makes finding his forever home especially important. We don’t want him to go through another move or abandonment; he deserves the stability and love of a family who will cherish him for life, even if he might chew something or have an accident in the house. Teddy is older and a lower energy dog so a high energy dog in the home would not be the best fit.
On walks, he’s non-reactive to cats, ducks, and squirrels (though he loves watching them scatter from his backyard ).
Teddy will be a devoted, affectionate companion to the right person or family, a true best friend who just wants to be by your side at all times.

We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
