Meet Rosemary, a 4-month-old kitten whose spirit is as vibrant as her unique,
adorable bob tail! This little dynamo has energy comparable to the Energizer
Bunny and the Tasmanian Devil combined. Her days are filled with running,
jumping, and leaping as she enthusiastically explores her world.
Rosemary (Rosie) thrives on interaction and particularly loves chasing and
wrestling with her older feline siblings. Although always prepared for a playful
challenge, Rosie also has a curious and observational side; she often sits cutely on
her haunches to take in her surroundings and assess her next adventure.
A true kitten of contradictions, Rosie is fascinated by water (maybe a future
fishing cat?) and enjoys the simple pleasure of napping in a sunny windowsill to
recharge for her next big play session. She is a whirlwind of fun, ready to bring joy
and excitement to an active household that can keep up with her playful antics!

Submit Application

If you see an animal you would like to meet, complete our online application. You will receive an email with the next steps.

2.
Meet the Pet

Visit the facility where the animal is located. If in foster care, the foster will set up a time to meet with you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

One of our adoption counselors will review the animal's medical history and walk you through the paperwork.

4.
Pay Fee

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once the adoption process is complete, you can bring your furry friend home!

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.

San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.

Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.
