Lemon is a stunning 2-year-old solid black beauty with a story of triumph. She was rescued from a trailer park where cats were reported to be poisoned, and this brave girl came to us with a wound on her neck. After lots of care, cleaning, and love, Lemon has completely blossomed—and she’s been giving that love right back ever since.
Lemon adores attention and isn’t shy about letting you know when she wants it—she’s wonderfully vocal and loves chatting with her people. She’s fully vetted and gets along well with kids, dogs, and other cats.
This sweet survivor is ready for a safe, loving forever home where she’ll never have to worry again.

Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

We have an application process to assure that adopters understand the commitment. Our base adoption donation is $148 but may ask more.
Interview
Our applications are detailed so that we have the information we need to make sure our rescues go into safe, loving permanent homes.
Meet the Pet
A meet and greet is always necessary to be sure the chemistry between adoptive family or person is compatible.
Interview
We interview not only their references and vet but also the responsible parties if something happens to them.
Approve Application
Once application is approved we still want to be sure that they understand that this is a long term commitment.
Home Check
Home checks are not always conducted, especially for cats & kittens but for dogs, we always want to check to be sure fences are in order.
Take the Pet Home
We understand that sometimes a new pet does not work out no matter how hard we try. We will always take our rescues back.
