What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Josie is a beautiful, smart and affectionate dog.
She is not a barker. She can be left at home safely (as long as there is no food on the counter!) She loves playing fetch, cuddling, hiking and eating. She is not scared of fireworks or thunder, for some reason.
We've had her in group as well as one-on-one training. She listens well, does not dash out the door, and is good on leash.
The only reason we have to re-home her is because she's been consistently aggressive toward our daughter, who is now crawling at 8 months old.
Josie has been aggressive and nervous toward other kids that have come to visit our home and we don't want to risk any bites.
She's never had a bite incident, or been in a fight with another dog.
Josie has shown aggression to other dogs, but only when they've come in our home. She has a lot of experience at various doggie daycares, boarding, dog parks, meeting other dogs on leash, etc and is fine in these situations.
We hope she can find loving new home.
