Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Spunky, a sweet senior looking for a fresh start. Spunky is an 8-year-old long-haired Chihuahua whose owner never came back for him, and he’s been a little unsure of the world ever since. He’s nervous at first but once you go slow and respect his space, he begins to relax and enjoy gentle petting along his neck and sides. He’s not interested in toys or treats right now, but he does love exploring outdoors. Spunky can be sensitive with handling and new people, so he’ll need an adult-only home with someone patient who understands that trust takes time. With other dogs, he’s tolerant and polite and happy to share space even if he’s not playful. Spunky is looking for a calm, understanding adopter who can help him feel safe again. If you believe in second chances and have a quiet home to offer, this little guy is ready to start his new chapter with you.
