Meet Grigio & Babette – Two Big Bundles of Love Looking for a Home Together

Grigio and Babette are a pair of large, lovable cats with hearts just as big as their paws! These indoor-only sweethearts are friendly, calm, playful, and incredibly cuddly. They’ve lived happily with older children and are known for their gentle, affectionate nature.

What makes them truly special? Their loving personalities. Whether they’re lounging side by side or coming over for pets and snuggles, Grigio and Babette are the kind of cats who make a house feel like home. Special note: Babette is harness trained!

Grigio and Babette are just two well-mannered companions looking for a fresh start together. If you’ve got room in your heart (and on your couch!) for a bonded pair, Grigio and Babette are ready to bring double the love into your life.

Adopt this dynamic duo and enjoy twice the purrs, twice the cuddles, and twice the joy.

Additional adoption info

We've got awesome dogs, cats and other critters waiting for new families to come and adopt! The adoption process begins online, and all adoptions are done by appointment only. To reduce the animals' overall stress levels, we have decided to limit animal viewing to those people with appointments for specific animals.

How it works:

1. Check out our available animals online. If you see an animal you’re interested in, fill out that species adoption questionnaire at https://www.everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet to start the adoption process. Please be sure to include the name of the animal that you are interested in adopting. Questionnaires will only be reviewed if a specific animal is identified. You aren't obligated to adopt that pet, but it's a place to start.

2. Our staff will review your questionnaire and contact you to discuss the adoption. Please note that it often takes several days before you are contacted. We appreciate your patience! (If it has been longer than one week and you haven’t heard from us, please email us.)

3. Most animals will be available to go home the same day as the adoption meeting.

Adoptions by Appointment
Our shelter is currently closed for general animal viewing, but we’ve still got awesome dogs, cats and other critters waiting for new families to come and adopt them. To help keep our staff, volunteers and community healthy, we are now providing adoptions by appointment. This enables us to comply with social distancing guidelines while still finding loving homes for the pets in our care.
