** Smore is in the process of getting adopted ** Age: Adult Breed: Lop mix
This is one bun who will melt your heart: introducing Smore! Smore is a fun, social bun who loves exploring, saying hello, and settling in for some really good pets. She`s curious, friendly, and loves to hang out with her people. She’s just as happy sniffing around her space as she is flopped over for a nap.
What makes Smore extra special is her resilience and her endlessly loving nature. She’s now on our website and back at our shelter for the third time in less than a month—not because of anything she did wrong, but because life just didn’t line up the way it was supposed to in what we hoped would be her forever home. Through it all, she has stayed her sweet, gentle, affectionate self. She greets new people with bright eyes and an open heart, and she’s still so ready to bond with someone who will finally be her forever.
Smore will thrive in a home that can provide a spacious, safely bunny-proofed area with room to roam. Daily free-roam enrichment is her favourite time of day. She loves showing off her binkies (that`s a happy bunny jump), investigating boxes, and finding new things to chew (so safe chew toys are a must!).
She’s a great eater who enjoys her pellets and leafy greens; like all rabbits, she should have unlimited hay available at all times. Because she`s a larger bun, making sure that she has a roomy litter box will encourage her to keep top notch litter habits.
If you`re looking for a little extra sweetness in your life, Smore may be your perfect match!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
