Allow me to introduce myself—I’m Acura, a small cat who loves sunny windowsills and quiet evening routines.

I make myself at home in any room, especially where the light is warm, and when the day winds down, I give a soft bedtime chirp to let you know I’m settling in for the night near your feet. I enjoy affection gently and on my own terms, but I still like to spend time near you—whether I’m lounging a few feet away or quietly following you from room to room. And if you want to win me over, fishy canned food and Churu are definitely the way to go.

If you’re looking for a calm, clever companion with an old-soul vibe, I might be the one.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait!

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have a pet in mind that you would like to meet, one of our staff members will assist with an introduction.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once a proper match is found, our pets are usually able to go home same day (so make sure to prep your home!)

4.
Take the Pet Home

Our adoption fees are donation based, meaning you can "name your own price". All donations go to supporting animal programs.

Please note that all adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait! If you see an animal online you’re interested in adopting, note the animal’s name and A# and visit our resource center Tuesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. We are located at 3001 2nd St. SW in the South Valley. Our friendly staff and volunteers are here to assist you and answer any questions.
