What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is sweet Douglas, we got him from the local shelter when he was almost a year old, about 2 years ago. He has been a happy go lucky pooch since we have had him. Unfortunately we are having to move into my grandmothers house soon after she passes away, and Douglas is not able to come with us. We are looking for someone (or a family) that has the time to work with his energy. He loves to run and play in the backyard. He is a little timid with strangers at first, but once he warms up to you he wants nothing more than to play! After playing he loves to relax on the sofa or in his kennel. He is crate trained. We unfortunately have not been able to work on leash training with him yet. He has never been around children but i am certain he would not have a problem with them. He is indifferent towards cats and pays no mind to ours.
He is such a love bug and would adore an owner that can play with him and give him all the attention he deserves.
