Introducing the Green litter of kittens. These sweet babies were born at the shelter on 8/31/25 to Kalispell (also up for adoption), and will be ready to go home in mid-November.

This litter includes:

BASIL - female calico, mix of black and orange on either side of face

PINE - female calico, symmetrical orange wings on either side of face

FOREST - female black & white, black triangle in center of face, thin white forehead stripe

MINT - male black & white, many black asymmetric splotches on face (adopted)

OLIVE - female black & white, tiny black mustache & goatee, sweet and sensitive

These cuties are coming along well with their socialization, and will continue to blossom nicely in their forever homes. They are all quite playful and enjoy both wand toys and chasing the laser dot!

All should adapt quickly to their new homes and families, and will make terrific companions. They are young enough to learn about dogs and other cats, too!

We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $75 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
