Meet Larry--the spunky dude with a 'tude.

Larry is a 1 year old lab mix who is great on leash, good with other dogs and kiddos, and is house trained. Larry is food motivated and loves treats and is working on learning tricks. He knows sit and down and is working on paw. He is smart as a whip which will make training him a breeze. Larry can be quite vocal and does not like to be in his crate, so a home that will give him lots of playtime and excercise will be required. Larry is up to date on all his vaccinations and is neutered.

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
