Meet Bambi, the SUPER sweet mama of the Bambi litter pups (Faline, Owl, Thumper, Mr. Mole, Flower, Aunt Ena, and Mrs. Possum)! Bambi and her newborn pups were found in a field in east TN while farmers were mowing. This little family was taken into rescue and placed in a loving foster home. They are now in CT and puppies are ready to start going to their furever homes. Bambi is ready to retire from her mama duties and find a furever home of her own as well!
Bambi is a young mama, approximately 1-2 years old. She weighs about 40 lbs, we think she is an Australian Cattle Dog/shepherd mix. She is extremely sweet and loving and has been an amazing and attentive mom! She is a friendly, easy going girl who gets along well with other dogs, people, and kids (not cat tested).
She is medically up to date (awaiting her spay appointment now that her milk is mostly dried up), housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special girl today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!

After your application is processed and your home visit is done, we will let you know if you are approved to adopt!

Once you are approved a meeting will be set up for you to meet with the dog you are interested in.
Sign Adoption Contract
The last step is finalizing the adoption! Sign their contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your furry friend home!
