June-Bug is a young, gentle mama who devoted herself completely to her five kittens. While caring for them outdoors, she was very likely bitten by a copperhead while protecting her babies. Her finder saw the entire left side of her face swell dramatically, and even after the swelling went down, her left eye stayed fully dilated.
A veterinary eye specialist examined her, said that she may need one daily eye drop long-term to keep the pressure controlled and prevent glaucoma. The drops aren’t expensive, and June-Bug is cooperative with them.
Now that her kittens are weaned and safe, June-Bug is ready for a home where she can finally relax and be cared for the way she cared for her little ones. She’s affectionate, gentle, and truly deserving of a loving family.
