My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**🐾 Meet Hilda: Your Future Hello-Committee Chair 🐾**

Looking for a cat who will greet you every morning like you’re the guest of honor at a very fancy event? Allow us to introduce **Hilda**, a 2-year-old tuxedo beauty with impeccable manners and an enthusiastic *“Hi! Pet me!”* attitude.

Hilda was found exploring the world as a stray, but she’s decided that the adventurous outdoor life is overrated compared to the luxury of a cozy home, soft beds, and humans who appreciate her glorious whiskers. She’s the perfect mix of curious explorer and dedicated nap enthusiast. One minute she’s inspecting that mysterious corner of your living room, the next she’s curled up in a sunny spot, dreaming of treats and fame.

Hilda loves:
✨ Saying hello to absolutely everyone
✨ Chin scratches and polite petting sessions
✨ Wandering around like a tiny, silent detective
✨ Napping like it’s her full-time job (which it is)

If you’re looking for a affectionate, charming companion who will brighten your days, supervise your activities, and look stunning while doing it—Hilda is your girl. Come meet her and let her tuxedo magic win you over! 🖤🤍

Additional adoption info

You’re interested in adopting? That’s great! We have many eager candidates who would love to meet you! If you have questions, please call us at 208-788-4351.

$150 Dogs (All ages)
$100 Kittens (Under 1 year, second kitten is free!)
$75 Senior and special needs dogs (7+,add'l care or meds needed)
$50 Cats (1 year and older)

We ask all who are interested in adopting an animal to fill out an adoption application. We interview all potential adopters with the goal of placing an animal with the correct family and compatible lifestyle. This is of prime importance – we endeavor to make this new home the animal’s residence for life. All of our animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving our facility as part of our adoption contract.

The adoption fees include spay / neuter costs as well as any vaccinations administered at the shelter. All animals are microchipped and your adoption fee covers the cost of a dog license for all of our Blaine County residents. You’ll also go home with a bag of food and a bag of goodies for your new pet!
