Salem is a people-oriented dog who bonds closely with her humans and needs a calm, predictable home. She must be the only pet and cannot live with other dogs or animals. She has significant crate and confinement anxiety and becomes highly distressed when confined or left alone; medication helps reduce intensity but does not resolve this. Salem requires an experienced, dog-savvy owner and is not suitable for homes with young children, as loud or chaotic environments increase her stress.
