My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaia is a stunning 5-year-old pittie mix with the sweetest, softest soul. She was lovingly surrendered after her owner developed severe allergies during her pregnancy — not because of anything she did. Kaia has only ever been a wonderful, loving companion.

This girl is the full package: crate trained, potty trained, up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and dewormed. She’s incredibly affectionate, calm, and loyal — the type of dog who will curl up right next to you with her chew toy and stay there happily for hours.

Kaia gets along well with other dogs after a proper slow introduction and does great with older kids. She also loves being outdoors, so a home with a fenced yard where she can sniff, explore, and lounge in the sun would be her dream.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Kaia is your girl.

To adopt Kaia, please fill out the Dog Adoption Application & Contract. Please do not submit an application if you are not immediately ready and available to meet and pick up the pet. We cannot hold pets. If you are not immediately ready to adopt please fill out the application when you are.

For the contract you can type "unknown" for some of the blanks. Make sure to click on "SUBMIT" after the contract is completed or it won't show on our system. Completing the contract does not bind you nor guarantee an adoption.

an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. If you are open to other pets similar to the one you are applying for, please indicate that in your email and we would love to help match you with a perfect new ARC PUP!

Spay/Neuter is a mandatory requirement with all ARC Pets when age appropriate. If opting to use your own vet, a required spay / neuter certificate must be submitted.
