What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nick Fury his name because he is missing his right eye. We do not know what happened, but the vet said it happened when he was quite young.
The reason that we need to rehome Nick is because he has been chewing on our furniture and clawing at the back door when we are not home. When we are home, he does not do these things. We have not been able to figure out a way to keep him from being destructive, and since we cannot be at home with him like he needs, we feel it is best for him to find a new home.
Nick is a shy, mostly quiet boy. He tolerates storms really well and has never shown aggression towards our kids. They are able to lay next to him an on him.
He is more nervous and does not like visiting the vet. If he could stay home and have a safe, calm environment, he would be so happy.
