My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Come on Folks.....why is Luna still waiting for her Forever Home? She sits so quietly and Politely in her Kennel❗️❗️ She's L❤️VED by Everyone. Luna is an amazing girl🎀 and would make a perfect easy Family Member.

Luna is 3 years old and 54 lbs. Maybe someone will open their Home 🏡 and Foster her, but better yet give her a second chance on life. She deserves it.🫶

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
