My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 04/2025

Meet Churro and Strudel, a delightful bonded duo who balance each other perfectly! Churro is bold and confident, while Strudel is gentle and affectionate. Together, they make the ultimate pair for a loving home.

Strudel

Strudel, lovingly nicknamed the gentle giant, is the largest kitten of his litter with the softest heart. Though a little shy at first, he blossoms into a loving, talkative companion. He enjoys being petted, chatting with his people, and following them around the house to stay involved.

Strudel absolutely adores his sister Churro. If he loses sight of her, he’ll wander through the house meowing until they’re reunited. You’ll often find him curled up next to her or sunbathing in his cat tree bowl. In the sunlight, his two differently colored eyes—one green and one blue—make him even more striking.

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats are in foster care. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are highly social and thrive with a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
