My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Daphne! 🐾
The “just right” dog in a world full of too-big and too-small options. At around 40 lbs, she is the Goldilocks of good girls: perfectly portable, yet sturdy enough to survive zoomies, excited greetings, and the occasional dramatic flop.

Daphne is house trained, kennel trained, great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and she actually listens when you talk (which already puts her above 90% of the population). She knows her basic commands and executes them with the enthusiasm of a teacher’s pet who definitely wants extra credit.

She’s got fun puppy energy, loves to play, and will happily entertain your household—then immediately switch into snuggle mode like she wasn't just sprinting around like a caffeinated squirrel. 🐿️💨

Daphne is eager to please, full of love, and ready to be the loyal sidekick you brag about to everyone you meet.

If you want a dog who brings joy, laughs, snuggles, AND probably steals your heart (and maybe your slippers), Daphne is your girl! 🐶💕

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
