Bailey is a sweet, loving dog! We got her in 2020 from a breeder. The reason we are rehoming her is due to her resource guarding around our older male boxer. It started with food a few years ago. Now she guards us occasionally and guards toys as well. She will bite our older dog but has never drawn blood. We have two young children that she is very good with but we recently had a baby that she started guarding. We are concerned our children will be hurt if she attacks our older dog around them or eventually gets after one of them. She truly is a smart, fun dog and it saddens us to rehome her but we have to do what’s best for our children. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves to be in our large backyard most of the day. She is not good on a leash for walks due to her anxiety. She loves playing fetch and also does well at a local boarding place if that’s something you will need. We are looking for a single person or family with older children and no other pets in the home.
