Meet Toby – Your New Adventure Buddy in the Making! Say hello to Toby, an adorable 9-week-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix who is ready to start the next chapter of his life! Toby was found off Coyote Run in Rockwall on 11/15/25 with no collar and no microchip. After completing his 72-hour stray hold with no owner coming forward, this sweet little pup is now officially available for adoption. Toby is full of puppy charm and curiosity. At this young age, he will benefit greatly from a family ready to guide him with structure, training, and lots of positive experiences. Cattle Dog/Shepherd mixes are smart, loyal, and active—so Toby will thrive in a home committed to providing mental and physical enrichment as he grows. He is scheduled for his neuter, microchip, and rabies vaccination on Wednesday, 12/31/25, NEW YEARS EVE, which is a mandatory appointment his adopter must be able to return him for in accordance with Texas State Law (Chapter 828). IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
