Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Snoopy, a lively puppy full of energy and curiosity. He`s playful and loves exploring his surroundings, always ready for a new adventure. He weighs 26 pounds and likes running, toys, and walks. Snoopy`s lovable and exuberant personality will fill any home with excitement. While he is noisy at the shelter, he is quiet in a home environment. He`s great with dogs at home, but at the shelter he knows exactly who he wants to play with and boldly tells others he`s not interested. He doesn`t enjoy being alone and his independent streak makes him a delightful companion for those who appreciate a dog with a mind of his own. He has no experience with children and his occasional puppy nipping is leading us to require that kids be at least seven years old. If you`re looking for a spirited friend who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with joy, Snoopy could be the perfect match for your family. (tw 12/9/2025)
Foster notes: Snoopy incredibly smart and eager to learn. When he first arrived at his foster`s home, he barked in his wire crate and paced back and forth, clearly unsure of his new environment. They switched him to a plastic, den-like crate and covered the front with a blanket—and the change was amazing. At first, he tried everything to get out: barking, crying, whining. But with consistency, he learned quickly. Now he walks right into his crate on his own, excited for the treats waiting for him, and he sleeps through the night without a sound. When he’s out of his crate, Snoopy is calm and quiet. He doesn’t bark or react to other dogs, and although he’s alert on walks, he shows zero reactivity when passing other pups. He’s a true “dog’s dog”—happy to play with any friendly pup he meets. He can also entertain himself with toys and chew sticks when he’s relaxing on his own (with supervision). Snoopy is very bright and responds well to verbal cues. He already knows how to sit, stay (almost!), and come, and after just one correction he stopped jumping. He even sits politely before being leashed. He thrives on routine and is almost fully housetrained—four full days with no accidents so far. He’s a sweet, social, playful little guy who’s settling beautifully into home life. Shelter life is tough for Snoopy, and it doesn’t bring out the best in him. But once he’s outside those stressful walls, he truly shines—becoming a fun, happy, and incredibly loving buddy. Come meet Snoopy today! (PA 12/5/25)
