My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco!
Coco is a 1-year-old terrier with the softest heart and the sweetest little soul. This gentle girl came to us very scared, and while she’s still learning that the world can be a safe place, her sweetness shines through the moment she feels even a little bit comfortable.
She may be timid at first, but with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, Coco begins to open up—and once she does, she’s incredibly loving. She just needs someone who will go slow, offer reassurance, and let her build confidence at her own pace.
Coco is the kind of dog who will blossom beautifully with the right person by her side. If you have a tender heart and a quiet home where a shy pup can gain trust and feel secure, Coco is waiting for you.
Give this precious girl a chance, and she’ll give you her whole heart.

Adoption Fees & Process
See current fees at www.yakimahumane.org
The adoption fees help offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals that need our help. We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.
