My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Pigeon-Mullet, and beneath my luxurious long fur is a big-hearted cuddler ready to find a cozy lap to call home! Soft and gentle, I’m known for using soft paws during playtime and showing all kinds of affection to my siblings and foster people.

When playtime is over, my favorite thing is nestling in for a snuggle session, after a snack! There’s nothing better than a quiet evening and a warm cuddle partner. I might be a little shy at first and get spooked by sudden noises, but given patience and a gentle hand, I quickly melt into a purring, loving companion. If you enjoy quiet moments and dream of having a beautiful snuggle buddy by your side, I could be your perfect match!

My dream home is calm and nurturing, with soft blankets, maybe a perch by a window for afternoon naps, and absolutely lots of love. I get along well with friendly siblings and would thrive with a gentle adopter who understands my bashful charm.

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Pigeon-Mullet will need to be adopted with his sister, Gnat.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
