Once upon a time, Sasspants, also lovingly known as Sassy was a cautious little kitty learning to survive on the streets. Life was not easy, but beneath that tough exterior was a heart just waiting for love. With patience, care, and a safe place to call home, Sassy has truly blossomed!
Now, this handsome boy has mastered all the best *indoor kitty manners* — he uses his litter box like a pro, loves his cozy nap spots, and greets his humans with soft meows and gentle purrs. Sassy has discovered that toys are wonderful, sunbeams are magical, and belly rubs might just be his favorite thing ever.
He has still got a bit of that curious, independent spirit from his outdoor days, but mostly he is just a big softie who is grateful for the warmth and safety of home. Sassy is ready to share his heart with someone special who will cherish him forever.

Sasspants is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and have been treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Meet the Pet
During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.
Additional adoption info
* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.
Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
