We are calling this handsome 5-year-old male, Waffle He was on an adventure exploring Cobb County when he made his way to the shelter on 11/1/25. Waffle is microchipped, but sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Waffle is very calm inside and outside the kennel. As soon as he sees the leash he greets you at the kennel door. He is a little strong on leash mostly because he enjoys sniffing and exploring the outdoors. He responds to the commands sit and down. Waffle is such great dog and is eagerly waiting to meet a forever family.
Waffle weighs 90 lbs and is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered upon adoption. He has tested negative for heartworms. Please stop by to meet this sweet guy in run 850; his ID # 14807.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
