Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dodger.
No filter.
Just fancy lights.
Dodger is gorgeous — a truly handsome, very sweet boy. This guy looks magical in any lighting, no filter required. He patiently waited while we played around with the settings on our newly donated lights and was the best little staging assistant we could’ve asked for.
Whoever is lucky enough to bring him home will never run out of photogenic moments to share and we hope inspire more wonderful people to come meet his friends still waiting at CACC.
Adopt, don’t shop… and maybe start with Dodger.
Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).
We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
