Cookie is a 3-year-old, 45-lb sweetheart. She loves toys, exploring, and working for treats. She can be shy at first and may bark or growl at new people, but with patience she warms up into a very affectionate, loyal dog.
Cookie gets along well with other dogs and does fine with cats but only under supervision. She hasn’t had much experience with children. She’s also a bit of an escape artist so she’ll need secure fencing and someone who can keep a close eye on her outdoors.
Cookie is kennel trained and knows “sit,” “stay,” “no,” and “okay.” She’ll thrive in a home that can give her plenty of play, structure, attention, and love. Unfortunately if we can’t find a home for her soon we will have to send her to the shelter.
