Born around August 10 to a gentle mama cat who had been left behind by a neighbor, Theo was part of her sixth—and final—litter. This multi-generational feline family was rescued in October from a neglected yard and lovingly fostered, spayed/neutered, and adopted into wonderful homes. Everyone except Theo, who is now about six months old and more than ready to find a family of his own.

Theo has blossomed into the sweetest little companion. He adores curling up on my chest, purring nonstop as he nuzzles into my neck and gives soft little licks to my face or hands. Before you know it, he’s purring himself to sleep, stretched out and completely content.

And that purr—deep, rumbling, and constant! It’s one of his favorite ways to communicate, along with cheerful chirps, happy spins around your feet, and dramatic arches of his back when he’s asking for pets.

Theo gets along beautifully with other cats and will happily groom his feline friends if they’ll let him. Still young and full of playful energy, he’d love a kitty companion to wrestle and romp with. That said, he could also thrive as an only cat in a home where someone is around most of the time—he truly doesn’t like being alone.

He’s had quite a bit of interest recently, but the right match hasn’t come along just yet. This incredibly deserving boy is ready to share his big heart (and even bigger purr) with his forever family.

Theo is about 6 months old now and weights 8.8 lbs, so growing to be an 'average' size male cat.
