If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We rescued Toff more than a year ago. She is a 4-year-old mini sheepadoodle who loves affection. She has been a good dog. Very good with our kids. They enjoy taking her outside and running around with her. House trained and crate trained. Very good walker. Doesn’t jump. We’ve only heard her bark a few times. Because she’s a doodle mix she doesn’t shed either.
We don’t know a lot about her earlier life. The shelter just told us she lived a sad life as a breeder before she came to us so she started out very scared and shy. She’s really warmed up to our family and has been great when she’s stayed with friends (including a family with another dog). She can still be timid. She has a very calm temperament. We don’t have other pets but anytime she has been around rodents, cats or dogs in or outside, she has been fine and doesn’t pay much attention to them.
We’re really hoping to find her a loving home.
