Buddy had one family since he was a puppy - two adults, a chocolate lab and two chihuahuas. 4 months ago their trailer got foreclosed on, and his family left him there by himself, only checking on him a few times a day. They were planning to move states, taking the chihuahuas with them, removing Buddy's tags and dumping him at a shelter as a stray. Someone heard their plan and stepped in to help. They had been mentioning for a while how they needed to "get rid of him" with no effort to find him a good family.
His food dish, blanket, and crate looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years! Buddy was in need of a bath, teeth cleaning and nail trim, too. Seemed like the owners just really didn't care about him.
Luckily someone was able to take him in for the weekend before he found a foster, and he had a great time playing with their kids and dog. Now he's awaiting his forever home! He's a great dog looking for a great home!
