Scream and Yell will only be considered for adoption as a pair.

Welcome Scream and Yell! They are an adorable and plush duo of young tabby brothers that came to MM straight from the window well of a local CHAS clinic. Certianly a glitch in the cat distribution system since that wasn't a very safe location. They have an estimated birthdate of 10/15/2025.

These babies are ready for their next adventure, and at this point in their lives, they will make great additions to any adopter with room in the home and heart for another fuzzy family member and a bit of patience to help them complete the process of acclimating to household life and handling by people. They're all happy, healthy, and playful!

Each kitten comes spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. The adoption fee is $100 and includes a sample of the food they've been eating and their medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
