Meet the sweet pair, Mickey and Minnie! These two little Chihuahua mixes are truly charming and were rescued after they strayed and found themselves in a Texas kill shelter, where their owners never came to claim them. Fortunately, our rescue partners pulled both of them out together, drawn in by their cute ears and expressive faces. These youngsters are estimated to be one to two years old and weigh only about seven to eight pounds each. They are super friendly with both humans and other dogs. They love people, enjoy being on your lap, and are full of kisses. They walk well on a leash and are very loving and calm. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, and have been thriving in foster care with other dogs and many different people, making them a great choice for any home. While we do not know exactly how bonded they are, we would genuinely love to find a home for them both together if at all possible. Our adoption fees do vary depending on the animal and all pets go to new owners already spayed and neutered, vaccinated and wormed. All adopters are given a two week adoption trial with an exchange guarantee if the animal does not work out. We require a completed adoption application, which is on line on our website, and a signed care contract. All pets go out with a copy of their signed agreement and a copy of their medical record. Fees for adult cats are $60-75 and kittens are $75. Fees for dogs are $125 to $200 for adult mixed breed up to $300 for purebred, small dog puppies.

TRACS offers appointments daily 1-5 PM during the week excluding Mondays to see and meet adoptable pets. Tracs also adopts cats and kittens from Petsmart in Missoula, Montana. We have adoption days for dogs and cats at Petsmart additionally about 6 times a year. We also attend annual adoption events in the Missoula and Kalispell areas of Montana.

TRACS has been in operation for 7 years and we have taken in and adopted out 3000 animals (as of 11/1/2013). We are mostly volunteers and pride ourselves on the fact that we have a new facility (small and humble but very comfortable) and have had for 2 years. We are a small budget organization and we receive no municipal or county support. We totally depend on donations to keep up our good work. We accept all donations of food, bedding, litter, or anything else that folks like to give us. Of course, monetary contributions are very much needed and are fully tax deductible. TRACS is a 501c3 organization
