Meet Sandy:
Sandy is a young, gentle girl who weighs about twenty-four pounds. She is still learning her house manners and will need a wee bit more support with potty training. She is also learning healthy boundaries when it comes to food. She shows some uncertainty in new situations and will sometimes choose to rest in her crate or hesitate before coming inside. With calm reassurance, she relaxes and becomes very sweet and snuggly. It appears she did not receive much early socialization, and she is learning at her own pace. Sandy has a soft nature and is making steady progress. She will do best in a home that understands she is still finding her confidence and is committed to helping her grow.
Sandy will also do best with an active family or human willing to spend the necessary time to continue her studies on becoming an even more amazing Collie lady. At just 4 months old and in her formative puppy months, she will need someone dedicated to her upbringing. Being in a crate all day is not her jam. Cats are a-ok with Sandy. Another canine companion would be fun for her but they would need to match her level of play.
With time, patience, and gentle guidance, she will continue to blossom. Are you the one who will be Sandy's hero?

In order to continue our rescue efforts and help more dogs, we require an adoption donation ranging from $75 - $500, depending on the age, breed and the expenses incurred on the individual dog.
