My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Waffle was adopted in April of 2021 from a rescue in San Diego. She was estimated to be about 3 months old when I adopted her, so she will be 5 in January 2026.

She is sweet, but also has a chihuahua brain. She is very protective and makes a great guard dog. She likes dogs that are about her same size and has had a few dog friends who were bigger than her.

Her favorite things to do are burrowing underneath the covers and playing fetch.

She is scared of new people at first, but then becomes your lap dog when she trusts you. She would do well in a home that is looking for a tiny security guard and a companion lap dog.
