My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh, hi! I'm Archie! Don't you just love my adorable floppy ears and my big puppy-dog eyes? I'm a darling beagle pup who's looking for a furever home! I love people, playing, and curling up for snuggles once I'm tired! I also enjoy romping around outside and sniffing everything that my beagle nose can find! I'm a young dog, so naturally I have lots
of energy and a desire to explore! Along with my adventurous side, I'm also incredibly sweet and friendly. I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project when my previous caretaker faced hardship and was no longer able to keep me.. but I know that BFP will help me find the adopter I'm hoping for. I'm an amazing pup who's waiting to be noticed by my perfect furever family! Could that be you?

🏡 My Home’s Requirements: I love other dogs but prefer to be an only in my own home - that includes cats too.

📍 My Location: Los Angeles, CA

Please note: Third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed above!

Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter can travel to the animal’s current location for pickup.

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
