My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blueberry Pie may look innocent and sweet... but this little girl has quite a bit of energizer bunny mixed in as well! Smart, curious, playful, and full of endless energy, Blueberry will keep you on your toes, and needs a kitty playmate and family who can keep up with her.

Blueberry Pie has long fluffy, bunny-soft fur, extra toes, and is missing one eye due to an infection when she was a young kitten. She will have surgery to repair the eye socket when she is 6 months old, but it is not an active infection, and will not cause her any problems in the future. She is healthy and FeLV/FIV negative. Her adoption includes her full series of 3 FVRCP (distemper) vaccines, Rabies vaccine; fecal testing and deworming; microchip; and spay.

Blueberry Pie loves to run and play and needs a family who is prepared for a high energy kitten. She loves other cats, and needs to be adopted with another kitten, or to a family with another high energy kitten. She has not been dog tested, but can be upon request. Blueberry Pie has too much energy for very young children, but middle aged children and teenagers should be a great fit with her.

More about this rescue

Cameron Animal Hospital has been located on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, since 1936. The family-owned hospital is the first purposfully built animal hospital in the state of NJ, and provides veterinary services to cats, dogs, and other small animals, including rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more.

Cameron Animal Hospital is not a shelter, but works extensively with the rescue community in Essex County by providing veterinary care to local shelters, and finding homes to a variety of animals (cats, dogs, and small animals) who have come into our care.
