I got Slinky from Treehouse Humane Society at the end of August last year. He’s a little over 2 years old. He was found on the streets with trouble seeing out of his left eye, and it eventually had to be removed. That said, since he’s a pretty active cat he doesn’t let his poor vision stop him from getting around! There was one cat already living in the apartment at the time I got Slinky, and unfortunately they are still not getting along. While I think he would benefit from another playmate, I think he should be in a single cat household that could eventually introduce another cat.
He is also FeLV positive, so he requires more medical attention than other cats. He loves playing and being around people and so requires a lot of attention and supervision. He can get pretty chatty if you don’t play with him enough, so having a routine with set playtime will help him chill out. He would do best in a cleanly household where he cannot get into any food left out or trash cans/recycling.
