Meet Peaches, a sweet 5-year-old long-haired orange kitty. She’s a calm, snuggly lap cat who loves napping on the couch and bonding with her person. She’s shy at first (she hides, never hisses or scratches), but once she warms up, she’s extremely affectionate.
Peaches does best with lots of attention and a predictable routine. When she gets anxious or overwhelmed, she has had occasional pee accidents, but this improves when she feels secure. We’re rehoming her because with a toddler and a new baby on the way, we can’t give her the consistent one-on-one time she needs.
She lives great with our other cat and I think she’d do well with other cats too, as long as she has a slow introduction. She’s also gentle with our toddler and does fine with kids.
She’ll be a wonderful, loyal companion for someone who wants a loving lap cat.
