My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Juniper is a shy and sensitive cat who thrives in a quiet, peaceful home. She prefers her personal space and isn't a cuddler or lap cat, but she'll gladly keep you company in her own quiet and charming way.
Juniper is a creature of silence. Doorbells, loud activity, and especially guests can startle her. She would do best in a home with fewer than two people and no frequent visitors. She loves cozy hiding spots, peaceful rooms, and people who move at her pace.
Once she has established trust, she'll follow you from room to room, sit nearby, and quietly observe you from a comfortable distance. Sometimes she'll even settle into a loaf or roll around in your proximity.
Despite her shyness, she is always ready to play. Chasing strings is her favorite, and it's one of the best ways to bond with her and see her personality shine.
Juniper finds petting overwhelming and will often decline it, but if you give her space, she'll approach you on her own terms - offering sweet little rubs that feel extra special because she initiates them. Don't pet her, she will pet you.
If you're looking to give a shy, tender cat a safe place to truly flourish, Juniper might be your match.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.
