My name is Hammy!

Hammy is a rescue dog. She was originally from a local kill shelter when they hit capacity. We've had her for about four years. We adopted her when she was six months old. She does great children she's been with us since my daughter was six. We've never had any issues with nipping. She's mostly house trained if taken outside regularly. Has never tried to escape our fenced yard. We also have two cats. She tries to play with them regularly despite them not being interested but has never attacked them. She plays well with other dogs when introduced slowly. Unfortunately, we are relocating out of state into an apartment and won't be able to take her with us. She no longer stays in a crate but was properly crate trained as a puppy and is comfortable in them. She does not like thunder storms. We just hope we can find her a good home.
