My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Izzy — the Chihuahua mix who runs on cozy vibes, snacks, and exactly one human female.

Izzy is a quiet gal who would rather snuggle in a blanket burrito than participate in literally anything loud. She’s soft, she’s sweet, and once she decides you’re her person, congratulations… you now have a tiny, loyal shadow who follows you to the bathroom like it’s her job.

She can live with a man, but let’s be honest: she will treat him like a mildly suspicious roommate she tolerates only because he sometimes hands out treats. No hard feelings — she’s just a girls’ girl.

New people? A little scary. But offer her gentle vibes and maybe a snack, and she’ll eventually decide you’re acceptable.

Izzy is looking for a chill home where she can relax, snuggle, judge you softly, and nap like it’s a competitive sport.

Think you might be her chosen human?

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
